The essential question proposed in Willa Cather's poem, Evening Song, is this: What could be more important than Love? The skies are boundless beyond our comprehension and the world is wider than we can possibly know. Why trouble ourselves with these questions? Let us dwell in the here and the now; let us share love with one another however we are able. This concept is simple yet profound, and is something we can all relate to.

This piece was written for the fourth annual BSU Sings! Day Festival and premiered by the festival chorus on March 19th, 2025 at Bemidji State University.
